Convention Swaps

Here are a couple swaps I received at Convention.  I love the look of clean lines and I think both of these cards have just that.  The "B Happy" card was made by Jeralyn Baker of CO.  The "Stitched Exotics" card was created by Jacqueline Cameron.  I’ll be sharing more of my swaps over the coming weeks.

Back from Convention!

Well, as usual, Stampin’ Up! impressed me at their 20th Anniversary Annual Convention in Salt Lake City.  It was amazing.  I absolutely LOVE going and seeing my stamping friends.  I think that’s the best part of it – getting and giving so many hugs and catching up with everyone and sharing each other’s accomplishments, both SU! and otherwise.

CAN YOU SAY "FREE STAMPS"???  From left to right:  Bonnie (team member), Carol, Cyn (team member), and yours truly.

We were able to create 8 (I think) pre-determined projects, all prepped by SU!, using our new stamps!!

Kristin won accessories for SU!’s latest venture - the Sizzix Big Shot!!  (Side note: Bonnie also won a fantabulous set that I can’t wait to purchase called "Upsy Daisy" and I won a free stamp set too!) 

And of course there were tons and tons and tons and tons and tons of samples EVERYWHERE!  But I can’t just show them to you all at once, can I?  Now that would just be silly!!!  (bwahahahahaha)

 Things to note: 
- You can’t see the complete opposite side of the room, nor the bleachers in the way back.
- You can’t see the main stage with the incredible "Celebrate ’08" prop.
- There are JUMBO screens everywhere so that no one misses a thing!
- The wave never did make it all the way across the room!  LOL  But it came close and props to that woman for trying!
- Don’t you wish you were there?????
