There are two ways I can help you, you decide what is best for you.

Playing around
While I finally have a few free minutes I thought I’d play with Upsy Daisy, I love the set but haven’t had time to play with it, and some new DSP and the new Kiwi Kiss/Vanilla satin ribbon. I have a lot of fun workshops coming up in the next few weeks so I need to get crackin’! This is card #1. I like it, I don’t love it, so I’m going to try again. I think something about the layout is throwing me off but I haven’t figured out what yet. I do really like the unusual color combination I chose: Kiwi Kiss, Not Quite Navy, and Baja Breeze. Don’t be surprised if you see a version of this at the next workshop you attend! Now let’s see if I can get one more stamped before it’s time to start creating dinner! LOL

Card from Lori
I got a nice surprise in the mail the other day from a fellow stamper, customer, and friend – a card ‘just because’! How sweet is that? Admittedly, I’m not always the best at getting birthday cards out on time let alone sending a card for no special occasion! In the card she wrote that she was playing with different ways of using designer paper and what did I think of what she did with it. Well, I think it’s great! Such a creative, FALL use for a set of designer paper (Summer Picnic) that most people would think to use only for Summer themed projects. And to mix and match the stripes and completely cover the card front is very nice! So, thank you very much Lori, I really appreciate you thinking of me and I’m glad to see you using your supplies you accumulated in club last year! Maybe it should be everyone’s goal to send one card this week ‘just because.’ (And my great readers, feel free to leave a comment for Lori telling her what you think of her use of the designer paper!)
