Vicki’s Baby Card
I’ve been meaning to post this card for a while now and am finally getting around to it. It’s an adorable card from Vicki for me and my new little one! Isn’t it so cute? Remember that Sale-A-Bration set So Many Scallops? And I believe that’s the new Super Fine glitter on there. And how cute is that little pacifier on the ribbon? Funny thing is we bought several different binkies for him and his favorite is a clear one! And it shows the Shimmery White paper and just how pretty it is.
Thank you Vicki for the card (and the gift).
Happy Memorial Day Everyone!

Birthday Stars
The first meeting of the Twist Card club is this coming Monday night, so I finished designing the final card for club today and used the Mojo sketch to help me do so! This is one of those sets I had to have months ago that I’ve NEVER used – until now. You know you have those sets too! Sets you have to have in your collection, can’t get rid of, but perhaps barely use! LOL No worries, stamps aren’t a terrible addiction to have!
Anyway… on to the card.

Pick a Petal Note
Got another card made today! Wahoo! I’ll be using this card at club tomorrow night so hopefully if any of my club members are reading this they are also liking the card!
There’s a challenge at splitcoaststampers every Sunday basically to look at a certain person’s gallery, pick one of their cards, and CASE it but also change two things. Well, I changed many, many aspects of the card but certainly used her card as a jumping off point.
So here’s the card. I love that Sweet Always DSP! Love, love, love it. The colors in it are totally me (Regal Rose, Pumpkin Pie, Chocolate Chip) and the patterns are just awesome.
Ok, that’s all for tonight, I’m exhausted! Sorry for the poor scan quality but it’s 10:30 pm so no daylight with which to take a picture outside!

Rainy Day Kindness
It’s a rainy day here – a perfect day for stamping! So I looked around online to find a challenge and remembered Taylor’s challenge that she puts on each week. So here’s her sketch:
And here’s my card:

I embossed the rose with Rose Red craft ink and clear embossing powder then watercolored it in with Pretty in Pink ink and an aquapainter. To make the circles I used the Circle Scissors plus. And the butterfly came from the Bigz Beautiful Butterflies die with the Big Shot. And I love the Brushed silver card stock additions. I sometimes forget about our specialty card stocks; I really should start using them more! LOL Anyway, hope you like it and hope you’ve enjoyed your weekend!
Graduation Card ’09
Tomorrow is my brother’s college graduation! And as is par for the course lately I created his card at the 11th hour. It uses some older supplies (DSP and Wild Wasabi card stock) along with some chipboard and the star and small oval punches. I have no idea what the colors are for his school so I grabbed the first "boy-ish" DSP I came across and went from there. I thought the zero and the dots on the DSP went well together and those elements led me to add the circle background layers using my Circle Scissors plus. Hopefully it doesn’t come across too girly but I’m sure he’ll be more fixated on his gift INSIDE the card than what he says on the outside of the card. LOL
And lucky for me this card also fits the Cute Card Thursday challenge!!
