Mom & Me Cards Class

Show your kids how much fun stamping cards is! In this class you and your child will create 6 birthday cards (2 each of 3 designs). Your child can use these cards for his/her friends, relatives, etc.
Last Chance Stamp a Stack Cards
Here’s what the girls will be stamping tonight…

One is the card featured earlier on my blog here. The second is a simple trifold card using the Wild About You set. The third is a hinged card using the oh-so-beautiful Heartfelt Thanks set and Filigree brads. The final card features the fun Doodle This stamp set an a button from the Button Bouquet assortment.
Prehistoric Mojo
This card is serving multiple purposes! One – to do a Mojo challenge that I haven’t done in forever! Two – for the Stamp a Stack this week. Three – for a little friend’s birthday this weekend! I have to say this might be the first time in 6 years I bought a stamp set from the Retired List. It’s been on my list forever and was just kind of waiting ’til I *needed* it for the something for the boys. But since it’s retiring and there are no dinosaurs in the new catalog I knew I HAD to have it! Why didn’t I get it sooner? It was great fun and super easy to play with!

The sketch for this week:
Tonight’s Marker Club Projects
Again, busy, busy!
Tonight’s projects include:
- a gift card/money holder featuring the Top Note Die and Branch Out stamp set
- a card using one of my favorite Retiring Stamp sets, Heartfelt Thanks and also the Top Note Die with the Big Shot
- and a Totally Tool father’s day card.

S’Mores Dessert
Some of my club members swapped 6" x 6" recipe cards recently and I was lucky enough to get this ‘extra’ swap from Vicki! (See Vicki’s baby card here.) Not only does the recipe look delicious (who doesn’t like s’mores??) but the recipe card itself is just too darn cute! There are so many great details!
- marshmallows are that puffy white stuff that SU! used to sell a few years ago
- notice the ‘bite’ out of the corner of the recipe card (done with the scallop circle punch)
- the bear is paper pieced – notice his darker belly?
Isn’t it adorable? I can’t wait to try this recipe! Thanks Vicki! And thank you Phyllis for organizing the swap!
