Charming, For sure!

Seriously???  That’s one word to describe the Holiday Mini this go around.  I SERIOUSLY want everything.  Everything is SERIOUSLY cute.  And just when you think there couldn’t be more good stuff, you turn the page and say: Seriously???  LOL

And here’s another SERIOUSLY? This card is made with the Charming stamp set (that goes with our new line of Simply Adorned Charms).  Gina Maginnis, a member of my SU! team created this card as her swap card at our last team meeting.  It’s made with my new BFF, Soft Suede, and the Charmed stamp set as mentioned.   Look at it, then say it with me — SERIOUSLY???  LOL!

A Mini Convention for Everyone!

Every year Stampin’ Up! holds a Convention for all of their demonstrators.  This event is packed with lots of learning, stamping, prizes and fun!  How would you like to experience just a taste of a SU! convention?  Well now you can… minus all the business stuff!   You will create all of the projects Convention attendees did and MANY, MANY more!

Birthday Party

It was my son’s birthday party today!  It was a lot of fun, perfect weather, great family, friends, and food!  I wanted to share with you what I did with his cupcakes.  First off I made a crazy amount of different kinds, vanilla cupcakes with either Hershey kisses, chocolate mousse, or raspberry filling along with chocolate cupcakes with any of those same fillings, and I alternated between buttercream and chocolate frosting on those and then I also made some carrot cupcakes with cream cheese frosting.  The dilemma?  How to know what kind was what!  So, in sticking with the boat theme (you may remember seeing his invitation here) my DD#2 and I stamped a bunch of boats, stuck ‘em on toothpicks, added a scallop circle on the back and I wrote what kind of cupcake it was.  It was a lot of work but I think everyone enjoyed the different kinds!  So here are some pictures and I’m off to bed… it was a long, but fun, weekend!

Instructions

1. Adhere Pawsitively Prints Designer Series paper (8" x 8") to Whisper White page (8-1/2" x 8-1/2").
2. Adhere photo to page.
3. Stamp “Friendship” in Soft Suede ink on Whisper White card stock. Punch out using 1-1/4" Circle punch. Adhere to page above photo.
4. Stamp “Celebrate” in Soft Suede ink on So Saffron card stock. Punch out using the 3/16" Corner Rounder punch. Adhere to front of page using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
5. Cut bear from Soft Suede card stock using the Sizzix Big Shot and the Bear die. Cut the bear eyes, nose, and mouth from Chocolate Chip card stock using the Bear die. Cut the muzzle from Whisper White card stock using the Bear die. Cut two hearts from Regal Rose card stock using the Bear die. Cut shirt from Pawsitively Prints Designer Series paper using Beary Essentials die. Cut skirt from Pawsitively Prints Designer Series paper using Beary Essentials die. Cut purse from Regal Rose card stock using Beary Girl die. Cut hair bow from Pawsitively Prints Designer Series paper using Beary Girl die. Cut belt from Whisper White card stock using Beary Girl die.
6. Layer bear pieces and accessories and adhere to page. Adhere second heart over Whisper White punched circle using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
7. Pierce holes below So Saffron card stock and around Whisper White punched circle using the paper-piercing tool.

Sunny Day Scrapbook Class!!!

Announcing the date for my Sunny Day 6×6 Scrapbook Class! You may choose to make this album yourself or bring along your child to help her/him make one, or you can each make your own album!  These pages are so versatile virtually all of your pictures will work with them!   My Stampin’ Suite, Thursday, September 10th. Two Time Options: 4:00 pm* or 6:00 pm* Tonight you will create a 20 page 6×6 scrapbook using the Sunny Day Simply Scrappin’ kit and a few other Stampin’ Up! accessories.  Full instructions included, Class Fee Options: Option 1: $20, Class only (1/2 of the Simply Scrappin’ kit) Option 2: $30, Class with the full kit, you complete one scrapbook during class and have another half kit to bring home with you!
