Sale-A-Brate and Mojo

Here’s a card I made for today’s Sale-A-Bration class using this week’s Mojo Monday sketch.  It’s very quick and simple even though there are a lot of elements on it.

Stamp Set: Happy Moments (Sale-A-Bration 2010)
Card Stock: Ballet Blue, Chocolate Chip, Whisper White
Designer Series Paper: Welcome Neighbor (Sale-A-Bration 2010)
Embellishments: Pumpkin Pie corduroy button, Brocade Blue 5/8" grosgrain ribbon, Chocolate Chip flower brad
Other Items: Ballet Blue stamp pad, corner rounder punch, glue dots

Christmas Scrapbook Pages

This year I did a silver and red themed tree so I just had to make a layout to go with it.  Now to get those pictures printed….

Anyway – I used the printed snowflakes acetate, the Delightful Decorations stamp set and coordinating Ornament punch all from the Holiday mini.  I added some vellum paper snowflakes and added our Duo Silver Beads to the center (I have to have bling!).  I also dabbed on some Frost White Shimmer Paint (did you know all 3 shimmer paints from the Holiday mini are STILL available!!!!) on the ornaments and the edges of the Kraft cs.  A special shout out of thanks to my friend Teresa M for the inspiration of these pages!

And here’s our tree.  Not sure if you can tell the red/silver going on on the tree.  I really need some photography lessons!  I have this great new camera now and no idea how to use it!  Silly!

And here is Christmas morning (bear in mind we have 4 kids!).

Birthday Cards for me.

I know these are a month late in posting but I still wanted to show them off!

The first card is from K’.  I love how she printed out her sentiments to personalize the card even more.  And the way the card opens is great and reminds me to not only change up my techniques and layouts but also the way the card opens.  Thank you K’!

The second if from Amy E.  Amy got to experience my love for shopping last fall when a few of us headed up to Maine for Stampin’ Up!’s Regional Event.  Isn’t this card just great?  (And hey, you get 6 girls together and go shopping and see what happens!  We were tame by anyone’s standards I’m sure!)  I really like the repeating and layering of the sentiments and of course the beads are a perfect touch.  Thank you Amy!

Multi-Holiday Scrapbook Page

So, here’s a scrapbook page that I did that I think can be used for many different occasions.  Perhaps Christmas, Valentine’s Day, a wedding, and an anniversary, maybe even a birthday!  I used the Charming stamp set and the new scallop punch from the Sale-A-Bration brochure along with the matching Scallop Trim corner punch from the Occasions mini.  I also used the Chocolate Chip satin ribbon that is in the Clearance Rack right now.  I like how it came out… a little sophisticated, a little Holiday-ish, a lot of fun!

Other colors used: Sahara Sand, Chocolate Chip, Real Red, Whisper White, and the Christmas Cocoa Specialty Designer paper from the last Holiday Mini catalog.  What do you think? What type of pictures would you put on it?

Okay, last ones I think!

And we’re ending with a bang!  I hope you’ve enjoyed looking at the handmade cards I received as much as I enjoyed receiving them!

The first one was created by Patty.  I love it, don’t you? It uses the snowflake acetate that was in the last holiday mini and it’s really the perfect touch to the card.  (Please excuse the tiny bit of water damage on the bottom right of the card – that’s what I get for putting it on the windowsill above my kitchen sink!)

The second card is a stair step card created by Vicki using that awesome Dasher stamp set.  It’s just festive and pretty and the circle snowflakes/ornaments add just the perfect touch.
