May’s Card Club Projects

Last week our Card Club met and created the cards below.  Apparently I was in a vintage kinda mood when I created these!!

We used the Medallion stamp to create the look of lace on the card to the left.  You can't really see it here but there is Iridescent Ice Embossing powder on the background of the center card.  We used lace to get it there!  And the card on the right used the scallop punch in a fun to create a flower popping off the card!

Team Meeting Projects

Some of my team members and I got together the other night.  It had been a few months since we had seen each other and it was so great to catch up with everyone.  The ladies swapped some fabulous cards and brought their latest samples to share with everyone.  In the midst of all the catching up we did a tiny bit of stamping.  Everyone found a new use for old blueberry and cherry tomato containers (my husband thinks I’m crazy to save such stuff but how cute, right?!) and also created a 3"x3" card featuring a paper flower (tutorial here) that fit nicely in the container.  Other items you could put in the container – votive candles, candies, baby onesies, you get the idea!

Retiring Colors Card Stock – GET IT NOW!

As expected, supplies are starting to dwindle at SU! for the retiring colors card stock.  Currently, some colors that are ordered as 8 1/2 x 11 smooth card stock is being shipped as textured card stock.  Once the textured card stock is gone there will be no more!  Two colors have already been eliminated:
