Gina’s Vintage Card

Here's another fabulous pink and brown card we made at the Team Swap last week.  Gina created a great vintage Wedding or Anniversary card.  She used the new Blushing Bride card stock and marker along with Crumb Cake card stock and ink.

Other supplies used:

Occasional Quotes stamp set, Elements of Style stamp set, Bitty buttons, Lattice die with the Big Shot,  and the Pinking Hearts border punch.  You can't see it in the picture but we also used the Vanilla Shimmer Smooch Spritz.  It's sooo pretty!

Team Meeting Projects

Some of my team members and I got together the other night.  It had been a few months since we had seen each other and it was so great to catch up with everyone.  The ladies swapped some fabulous cards and brought their latest samples to share with everyone.  In the midst of all the catching up we did a tiny bit of stamping.  Everyone found a new use for old blueberry and cherry tomato containers (my husband thinks I’m crazy to save such stuff but how cute, right?!) and also created a 3"x3" card featuring a paper flower (tutorial here) that fit nicely in the container.  Other items you could put in the container – votive candles, candies, baby onesies, you get the idea!

Markers: Rose Red, Pretty in Pink , Summer Sun, Always Artichoke
Other: Dazzling Diamonds, water misting bottle, scallop oval punch, large oval punch, small oval punch, crystal effects, tag corner punch

SAB Class Projects

Here’s what you missed by not coming to my SAB class yesterday!  I have to say I really had fun playing with the Happy Moments  stamp set and loved, loved, loved using the Good Neighbor Designer series paper.  If you think that paper is all about houses, don’t be fooled!  There’s a TON of great colors and patterns in there.  (Although the houses are super cute too!) You can’t go wrong.

It’s funny, while I was creating these cards (which were mostly CASEd from other cards I’ve seen recently) I noticed I’m a white fan these days.  I used to always lean toward Very Vanilla as I thought Whisper White was too harsh.  But I’m finding I really like the clean, crisp, fresh look of Whisper White these days.  Anyway… just a random thought I thought I’d share.  Change is good!  :)

Continuation of last month’s club projects…

Sorry I ended my last post earlier than I had wanted to but the baby was crying and needed me and then it was already pretty late so I just went to bed!  Anyway!!!!  Here are the Big Shot projects from October.  This club went by so quickly!  I can’t believe it’s already over.  So sad.  It was fun girls!!

1. a card using the Leaves #2 die
2. a gift card holder using the envelope die but with a twist, so that it fits a gift card (the original die isn’t quite big enough for a gift card)  I’d love to show you how to make this oh-so-simple and quick gift card holder!
3. a Halloween treat box using the Top Note die
4. a Christmas Card using the Movers & Shapers die (remember you can get this for $10 this month! Ask me how!)

FUN!

If you’re interested in learning how to use the Big Shot and make great projects like these and others you’ve seen on my blog, please let me know.  I’d love to teach you and your friends how to use this super simple, super versatile Big Shot machine!

And this month there’s a great Big Shot package!!  Click on the Gift Giving Guide to see this awesome new bundle!
