Fabulous Regional Event!

Stampin’ Up! hosts smaller Regional events throughout the country.  Today was the Portland, ME Regional event and 8 of us from my team went.  WHAT FUN!!!!!  Here are some highlights…

Here we are when we first arrived.  Snacks in the middle (what is stamping without chocolate??) and free stamps… aaaaaah life is good!

The above are more great projects demonstrated today.  So many ideas, so little time!  LOL

Everyone who attended Regionals received the Berry Christmas stamp set from the current Holiday mini.  Then they had this great display showing projects using the stamp set.  It’s definitely a stamp set not to be overlooked!  (Watch for a great class coming soon using this fun stamp set.)

There are many more projects and ideas I could share with you from just this 4 hour seminar.  But I’ll leave you with a shot of my girls who attended today.  Such fun!

More pictures of projects created by other demonstrators.  I’ve tried to remember what grabbed me about each image.

The super large scallop circle grabbed me here. ANd I like how even though the scallop is a circle the artist didn’t feel the need to make the picture circular either and it really works.  The shape of the picture definitely brings focus to the picture, which is what you want in a scrapbook page, right?!  There are a ton of embellishments on this page but still the picture is way your eye goes and I think it’s again, because of the contrasting shape.

The color combinations above are so fun and uplifting.  I really like the multi-colored letters of "WILD" on the scrapbook page and the butterfly on the bottom uses, I believe, the baby wipe stamping technique.  Fun!

I think everyone will feel the same way I felt when I looked at these two scrapbook pages… say it with me.. ‘Aaaaaahhh.’  LOL  These are just fun pages with great colors and great images!

Did you not believe me that the display boards are endless at Convention? LOL!  They truly are!  And remember I only take pictures of stuff that grabs me!  Imagine how many pictures you COULD come home with!  Haha!  Hope you like these…

The first two pictures show so clearly EVERYTHING that comes in two of our Simply Sent card kits.  It’s truly a great deal whether you’ve never stamped before, own nearly the entire SU! catalog, or are somewhere in between.  Simply Sent kits contain in one (cute polka-dotted) box EVERYTHING you need to create 10 cards.  It comes with detailed project instructions, all card stock pre-cut and scored, the stamp sets, inks, embellishments, envelopes, glue and any accessories needed!  This would make a great gift for anyone as well.  And once you’ve used up the card stock, envelopes, and glue that comes in the kit you still have the stamps, inks, and accessories!!
