Birthday Tote-Ally Tess

Okay, are you sitting down??  Check out this amazing card Christy whipped up the SAME day she picked up her club order!!!  This is an awesome display of masking (getting Tess to hold the cake and the birthday bag and the balloons) and a VERY CLEVER way to use the Bitty Birthday stamp set.

In Christy’s words:
I’ve been very busy going through my loot…..what fun! As I was stamping all my stamps to catalogue them I realized that the Bitty Birthday set would work great with Tote-ally Tess…..I’ve attached a photo to show you what I made. I also used the Happy Birthday stamp from Vintage Labels.

Valentines and Birthday Cards

Here are the cards from this week’s club meeting.  I love getting together with you ladies!  You are all so much fun.  Because of the holidays and all it felt like it had been forever since we got together and it took me a few minutes to get back in routine.  It was great fun!!  And I wish you all could’ve seen the swap cards.  (Each month members have the opportunity to participate in a card swap with each other.)  There was a snow globe card, TWO stair step cards, embossing, glitter, bling, and more!!! 

Supplies used include:
Stamp Sets: With all my Heart, I {Heart} Hearts, Well Scripted
Punches: circle punches, Heart to Heart punch, scallop edge
Accessories/Embellishments: Circle scissors plus, Scallops Die #2, Chunky Essentials Glitter, white gel pen, corduroy buttons, Soft Suede polka dot ribbon, vintage brads, clear rhinestone brad

October Club Projects

I just realized I never posted last month’s club projects!  DUH!  So here we go… 

The Big Shot club members made:

1) the ‘thanks’ card also seen here
2) a small basket from the Basket & Blooms die (I will never tire of dying our White Organza ribbon!!)
3) a Frankenstein card using the Top Note die
4) a fun Christmas card using the new ‘O Christmas Tree’ die (You could get this die for just $10 this month!  Click here to find out how!)

Club members – I will get the direction sheets up on your page… soon… I need to get some sleep tonight though!  I think I’m finally crashing from the 48 hour sugar high I’ve been on.  Anyone else??  LOL

Twist Club Projects for September

Members of my Twist Club create 12 cards, all with the same theme, and receive product every month!  This month’s theme was ‘thank you’.  Each participant created 3 cards of 4 designs (shown below) and received 1/2 pack of the Thoroughly Modern DSP.  They got to use the Big Shot a lot last night!  LOL  The Thoroughly Modern Designer Paper is extremely versatile… you don’t have to stick with just the colors in the paper, but can coordinate it with other colors as well (see the So Saffron and Elegant Eggplant card?).  It is also feminine (flowers) and masculine (stripes) and just plain fun (lots of polka dots)!

We have one more meeting this go around on Monday, October 19th.  We wil be creating cards for "All Occasions" and each participant will receive a container of dazzling diamonds glitter.  (I have butterflies in my stomach just thinking about playing with the glitter!  I am definitely a glitter, girly girl!!!!!)  If you would like to join us, we’d love to have you!  Let me know you’re coming with a quick RSVP.  Class fee is $25.  Thanks so much!

Mojo 105 & Twist Club Card

I thought this week’s Mojo Sketch was so fun!  I was happy to be able to play again and create one of the four thank you cards my Twist Club members will be making this month.

This card uses the Thoroughly Modern Designer Paper ($9.95) and the Elegant Thank You stamp($6.95) along with two of our new In Color card stocks, Bermuda Bay and Soft Suede and the scallop square punch and the 1-1/4" and 1-3/8" circle punches.  Very fun and very simple to do!
