Please Help…

Come stamp a stack of cards for yourself while helping a fellow stamper and her family.

 Heather has been a stamping customer of mine and friend for many years now and she needs our help. 

  Just this past February, Heather was diagnosed with Stage 3 Cancer in one breast.  The doctors have taken an extremely aggressive route in treating Heather's cancer as it appears to be a rare form that is seen in about 1% of those diagnosed.  On March 1st, Heather started her first of four rounds of chemotherapy at Dana Farber and is hoping to still work full time through all of this! 

Heather is a Mechanical Engineer at BAE Systems and has been for 15 years.  She and her husband Tate, have been married for 8 years and have two children, Jack (6) and Edythe (3).  (Yes!  We were both pregnant at the same time for our children and I still hold a grudge against Heather that we were due just two days apart with our 3 year olds and Edythe arrived two weeks early and nearly a month before my boy!  LOL)  Heather is a very healthy, busy mom of two, and was of course caught off guard with her breast cancer diagnosis.

Clearly the travel time, gas money, and all of the other unexpected expenses that occur when dealing with a serious illness add up quickly.  So, that is why I am holding HELP FOR HEATHER- a Stamp-a-Stack event with all profits being given to Heather and her family.

My goal is to get a minimum of 40 stampers at this event and raise a minimum of $800 for them. PLEASE help me spread the word about this event and bring along your family and friends, even if they're not stampers they'll enjoy stamping these cards knowing they are helping someone at the same time!

 If you are unable to attend the event but would still like to make a donation please contact me to do so.  All profits will be given to Heather on the day of the event.

A FABULOUSLY FUN time at REGIONALS!!

One of the best things about being a Stampin' Up! demo has got to be the events that SU! holds!  You've probably heard me mention these time and time again but I have to say this Regional was ABSOLUTELY AWESOME!!!  We had so much fun, even leaving at 5:45 am, didn't dampen the day!  (I am SO not a morning person!!  LOL)

Here are those from our group who attended on Friday.

Obviously I was there too but I took the picture!  LOL

The event was held at the Hartford Convention Center this year and there were maybe 300 demos there?  I don't know.  I'm totally guessing but the room was large and full!

We listened to Stampin' Up! home office employees talk about a little bit of business and a WHOLE LOT of stamping!

There were great WOW! workshop presenters (all demonstrators) that showed some great techniques.

There was tons of swapping to be done and some display boards with samples.

And of course we stamped our little hearts out!  The projects SU! provided were G-O-R-G-E-O-U-S.  They totally outdid themselves!  I will certainly be doing the projects we stamped in future classes and clubs!  They are just too pretty not to share.

And we also had the privilege to listen to Glenda Travelstead (a demo from the midwest) present how she runs her SU! workshops and she got to show us projects with products in the upcoming Summer Mini Catalog!  Here is a Sneak Peek for you!

 I can't wait for Convention this year!  With the way SU! treated us at Leadership in January and Regionals this past weekend I have no doubts this Convention will be the BEST one yet!  If you want to join me for 4 days of ridiculous fun, Stampin' Up! style this summer let me know!!  We'd love to have you!!
