Another Fabulous Swap! – Mandi
Okay, sorry to go MIA on ya for a week there! And I was doing so well!!! Aaah well… life goes on…
Here is another awesome card we made at my team shoebox swap. This was created by Mandi. Again a terrific display of the new Sweet Pea designer paper in the Occasions mini and the new Sale-A-Bration scallop trim punch. It uses the With All My Heart stamp set that I’m totally adoring these days. Cute, isn’t it? You could whip up a bunch of these in no time, stamp any sentiment in the bottom, and have cards for all occasions! Thanks Mandi!

Bonnie’s Shoebox Swap
As promised here is another shoebox card we made the other night. This one features the new Sweet Pea Designer paper. I didn’t own it at the time but it’s on its way to me now! LOL Isn’t this card sweet?

Birthday Tote-Ally Tess
Okay, are you sitting down?? Check out this amazing card Christy whipped up the SAME day she picked up her club order!!! This is an awesome display of masking (getting Tess to hold the cake and the birthday bag and the balloons) and a VERY CLEVER way to use the Bitty Birthday stamp set.
In Christy’s words:
I’ve been very busy going through my loot…..what fun! As I was stamping all my stamps to catalogue them I realized that the Bitty Birthday set would work great with Tote-ally Tess…..I’ve attached a photo to show you what I made. I also used the Happy Birthday stamp from Vintage Labels.
Remember, Vintage Labels and Bitty Birthday are Sale-A-Bration stamp sets right now that you can earn for free like Christy did!
Thank you for sharing your talent with us Christy!!!
And if you’re wondering what awesome Designer Paper that is – it’s Thoroughly Modern.
Team Shoebox Swap card
First off, a little business to take care of… click HERE to see the latest update on the Product and Ribbon shares happening now.
This is so weird. I KNOW I wrote this entire post on Monday of this week and had it set to publish for Tuesday. However I have no idea where it went! Anyway… here we go again…
The card below I CASED from Patsy Waggoner on the new Stampin’ Up! demonstrator only Stampin’ Connection web site. She did it with a slightly different color scheme but when I saw it I immediately fell in love with it and knew I had to make one too.
So, thanks to Tracy on my team letting me borrow her new Extra Large Two Step Bird Punch and Welcome Neighbor designer series paper pad I was able to create this card. Some fabulous girls on my team and I got together Tuesday night for a shoebox swap and this is the card I had prepped for all the girls to create. You should see the cards the other girls brought that I got to make! They are truly awesome and I promise I will post them on my blog over the next few days so you can see the talent on my team!

SAB Class Projects
Here’s what you missed by not coming to my SAB class yesterday! I have to say I really had fun playing with the Happy Moments stamp set and loved, loved, loved using the Good Neighbor Designer series paper. If you think that paper is all about houses, don’t be fooled! There’s a TON of great colors and patterns in there. (Although the houses are super cute too!) You can’t go wrong.
It’s funny, while I was creating these cards (which were mostly CASEd from other cards I’ve seen recently) I noticed I’m a white fan these days. I used to always lean toward Very Vanilla as I thought Whisper White was too harsh. But I’m finding I really like the clean, crisp, fresh look of Whisper White these days. Anyway… just a random thought I thought I’d share. Change is good!
