A Flock of Birds…
Well, not real birds! I did do some mass production this past week of a card that I just fell in love with after I made one and knew I needed to make more! These snow days are tough so I needed to do something that reminded me Spring will be arriving in a few months!
Hope everyone who received one of these cards, enjoyed it!
Step One – I cut all the Crumb Cake layers (5.25" x 4") and ran them through the Big Shot with the Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder.
Step Two – I stamped all the birds from the 'Always' stamp set in Chocolate Chip ink and layered them on various colors. How did I choose my colors? Well, I knew I was working with all neutrals (Chocoate Chip, Crumb Cake, and Soft Suede) so really any other color was appropriate because everything goes with neutrals! So, then I looked at my buttons I had available. I counted the buttons and the cut the appropriate amount of card stock for each.

Step Three – I tied each button with Linen Thread or Hemp Twine (ran out of both, thank you Joan for letting me borrow some!).
Step Four – Cut and stamp Soft Suede Card stock (5 1/2" x 1").

Step Five – Assembly!

And apparently I didn't take a picture of a finished one! I still have a few on my desk so I'll tackle that (hopefully) tomorrow!
Happy Stamping Everyone!
Twist Club Projects for September
Members of my Twist Club create 12 cards, all with the same theme, and receive product every month! This month’s theme was ‘thank you’. Each participant created 3 cards of 4 designs (shown below) and received 1/2 pack of the Thoroughly Modern DSP. They got to use the Big Shot a lot last night! LOL The Thoroughly Modern Designer Paper is extremely versatile… you don’t have to stick with just the colors in the paper, but can coordinate it with other colors as well (see the So Saffron and Elegant Eggplant card?). It is also feminine (flowers) and masculine (stripes) and just plain fun (lots of polka dots)!
We have one more meeting this go around on Monday, October 19th. We wil be creating cards for "All Occasions" and each participant will receive a container of dazzling diamonds glitter. (I have butterflies in my stomach just thinking about playing with the glitter! I am definitely a glitter, girly girl!!!!!) If you would like to join us, we’d love to have you! Let me know you’re coming with a quick RSVP. Class fee is $25. Thanks so much!

Some Convention Display Board Pics
So literally about two hours ago I figured out I could upload my pictures to this computer my husband let me take with me to Convention!! How exciting is that?
So here are a few pictures taken of the display boards here at Convention. These are projects other demonstrators subitted to SU! over the past year. So not all projects use current supplies but I think they could all be adapted into current supplies or maybe you have your own product substitutions lying around!!
There are seriously like hundreds if not thousands of samples around and I just take pictures of things that grab me. Now unfortunately, sometimes when I’m reviewing the pictures I can’t remember what grabbed me but that’s okay! Hopefully some of these grab you.
