Many Pictures, One Card

Okay, so I know you already saw this card (originally posted on December 10, 2008) and many of you had commented on it (thank you!) but I thought I’d post it again because I like it so much!
Remember the really long discussion I had written about just how does one take a photo? LOL Well, I’ll spare you that commentary this time and just post my pictures.
This was inspired by Kristina’s Color Challenge #34. (See the colors in the first photo.) And here were the different photos of my card…

Sneak Peek – Bella Rose DSP

Well, I know the retired list and accessories can be a bit of a downer but remember there is always a plethora of new, exciting, gorgeous Stampin’ Up! products coming to replace the retired ones!!!  And this sample showcases some of the ‘NEW’ to be available on August 11.  This chipboard calendar was one of the four projects made at my Demo Only Stamp camp this month.  Members of my team got to play with the new paper and new colors!

This is the Bella Rose designer series paper (DSP).  It features (drum roll please) not one, but two new In Colors for ’08-’09 – Riding Hood Red and Kiwi Kiss.  It also has (as you can see in the polka dot strip) my favorite color (just ask my girls) Chocolate Chip.

What exactly are you looking at?  It’s a chipboard coaster covered in the Bella Rose dsp (I used Mod Podge to adhere the dsp) and a binder clip as the base stand.  The medallion is from the Baroque Motifs stamp set (LOVE it) and I know it’s hard to tell from the picture (I promise, I’ll be getting a new camera and have better images in the future!) but I inked up the medallion in Riding Hood Red, wiped off the ink from the dots with a tissue, and then used my Chocolate Chip marker to apply ink to the dots, gave the stamp a good huff, and stamped it on Whisper White, cut it out, added a vintage brad, and adhered with a dimensional.

The ribbon is the Chocolate Chip taffeta ribbon (yummy).

The chipboard coasters and calendars were purchased here.  Wouldn’t this make a great teacher or co-worker gift?  I think these would jazz up anyone’s desk!
