Julie’s Shoebox Swap
And yet another beauty from Julie (remember her Christmas card?). Julie did what I tell people to do all the time. USE ME! LOL Okay, well not really ME, but any card design I’ve done in the past! This was a version of an open house card I did when this stamp set (Eastern Blooms) first came out. Julie added her own touch with the sharp contrast of colors (Rose Red and Basic Black), a different sentiment, and of course a butterfly (Julie has an affinity to all butterflies and dragonflies!)! And it works! The butterfly comes from the new Embosslits Die called Beautiful Wings from the current Occasions mini. Love it!

Some Convention Display Board Pics
So literally about two hours ago I figured out I could upload my pictures to this computer my husband let me take with me to Convention!! How exciting is that?
So here are a few pictures taken of the display boards here at Convention. These are projects other demonstrators subitted to SU! over the past year. So not all projects use current supplies but I think they could all be adapted into current supplies or maybe you have your own product substitutions lying around!!
There are seriously like hundreds if not thousands of samples around and I just take pictures of things that grab me. Now unfortunately, sometimes when I’m reviewing the pictures I can’t remember what grabbed me but that’s okay! Hopefully some of these grab you.
Kristina’s 41st Color Challenge
These are difficult colors for me to work with yet I absolutely love them together and how sharp they look together. This is my first attempt… I think I’ll play a little longer and make a few tweaks to this card. What d’ya think? I loosely followed the sketch challenge 214 on SCS and of course stuck with Kristina’s colors: Riding Hood Red, Basic Black, Basic Gray, and Whisper White.

Eastern Blooms Thank You
This was made at one of my Marker Club meetings. Again, shows how versatile SU! DSP is as it uses the Ski Slope DSP for a beautiful, non-wintry, Thank You note!

Cards from Friends
I love getting mail, don’t you? Check out these cards.
This one is from Pam. It’s a nice card on the outside, clever use of the three flower punch to create ‘brackets’ of sorts…

and then check out the inside! Pow! Three onesies pop right up at you! Isn’t that cute??!!! And even the three stars with three little ducks are all cut out and then popped up on dimensionals. How sweet? Thank you Pam!
And here’s one I received from Patty. How pretty?? It uses the Purely Pomegranate (such a great color) and the new Pacific Point. The ink is Ballet Blue but I think it looks great paired with the other two colors, don’t you? All four flowers were cut out by hand and then dazzling diamonds was added to the center of each. Isn’t that great? I love seeing all the creative uses for the Eastern Blooms stamp set! Thank you Patty!
