May’s Card Club Projects

Last week our Card Club met and created the cards below.  Apparently I was in a vintage kinda mood when I created these!!

We used the Medallion stamp to create the look of lace on the card to the left.  You can't really see it here but there is Iridescent Ice Embossing powder on the background of the center card.  We used lace to get it there!  And the card on the right used the scallop punch in a fun to create a flower popping off the card!

Last night I had a fun workshop with some newer ladies (and a couple very experienced ones too) so I came up with this simple yet cute card for them to create.  What I love about it is I used some card kits I had already cut and bagged that were leftover from another workshop.  I liked the challenge of coming up with something different out of the same materials.  Maybe I should try that more often!

Card Stock: Bashful Blue, Brilliant Blue, Whisper White
Embellishments: clear rhinestone brad, Ballet Blue 5/8" grosgrain ribbon
Inks: Bashful Blue, Brilliant Blue, Crushed Curry

Tonight’s Demo Stamp Camp Projects

Once every other month I invite the demonstrators on my team over for a night of stamping fun and inspiration!  I charge $5 to help cover the costs of the cardstock, etc and they get to create 4 projects.  Here are tonight’s projects:

One is a diorama card using the new Garden Greenhouse stamp set that I absolutely LOVE!  Another is a Christmas gift card wallet (never too early to start your Christmas stuff!).  Another is a money holder card, and the final one shows a fun spin to the Top Note die with the Big Shot.  I’m sure my club members will see similar projects in the near future as these were all quite fun to make!
