6 x 6 scrapbook page or card – your choice

I had a workshop this past weekend and knew that most of them attending would be scrapbookers, but I wasn’t sure if ALL of the guests would be scrapbookers.  So, while at Convention this past summer one of the fabulous presenting demonstrators (sorry, I can’t remember who!) had said that she gives her guests a choice between making a 6 x 6 page or a 6 x 3 card using the same materials.  I KNOW!  GENIUS, RIGHT?!?!  Well, that’s what I thought back in August and I finally got a chance to try it out in my own workshop.  It was great.  Two out of the seven guests made the card option and that was enough for me to say it was a successful experiment and that I’ll definitely be offering that again in future workshops.  So, I know you care more about seeing the projects than reading my babble on the ‘why I did it’ (lol) so here you go:

They both use the following suppies (of course ALL supplies are Stampin’ Up!):

oBase: Real Red (6” x 6”)
o2nd layer: Summer Picnic dotted DSP (0.75” x 6”)
o3rd layer: Summer Picnic striped DSP (1-1/8”” x 3.75”)
oStamp Sets: Tart & Tangy, Heard from the Heart
oStampin’ Around Wheel: Whimsy
oInks: pad: Versamark®, markers: Basic Black, Real Red, Old Olive
oAccessories: corner rounder punch, dimensionals, white gel pen, scallop circle punch, 1-3/8” circle punch, 1-1/4” circle punch, jumbo wheel handle
oEmbellishments: Crystal Effects

Hope you like!  Club members, go over to your page to see the 6 x 6 page turned into a 12 x 12 page!
