May’s Technique Club Projects
Here are the projects the girls made last night in club. They all feature new items in the current Summer Mini. My new favorite stamp set, The Open Sea, along with the fun Elegant Bouquet punch. The little tote is perfect for holding a gift card, small candies/treats, or Ghirardelli squares like I gave each club member!

She Stamps…
Yes! I do still stamp! I actually stamp a lot more than this blog reflects. LOL I don't get a chance to show you everything on here for various reasons… sometimes it's just a matter of time… sometimes I CASE so frequently I don't want to post something that isn't entirely mine or I can't find the one who inspired me…etc.
So, yes, I do stamp on a fairly regular basis! Trust me!
Here are two of three cards for tonight's Technique Club. One showcases the new Cupcake Punch (fun!) and the Designer Paper from the Sale-A-Bration brochure. (Did you know Sale-A-Bration ends March 31st!!?? There's still time to place an order and earn EXTRA FREEBIES!!!! Contact me for more info.) And of course I had to get all girly and add the new Melon Mambo pompom trim. Too fun!! Now this card was completely inspired by my friend and amazing Stampin' Up! demonstrator Kimberly VanDiepen. Thank you Kimberly!!
The second card showcases a technique that isn't new but was reminded to me by a demonstrator at our Regionals event this past Friday. It's a way to omit part of the embossing on an embossing folder. It uses the stamp set we received for free at Regionals as well (Nature Walk). And do you see the Champagne Mist shimmer paint on there? Love it! Just a dab will do you! LOL
Hope you enjoy these cards and are doing well!
Take care,
Katherine

Pilgrim & Indian Owls… :)
These little guys and gals make me smile. Would the pages be a little more formal without them? Of course. But who needs to be formal all the time?

Supplies Used Above:
Card Stock: Really Rust (retired), More Mustard, Cajun Craze, Soft Suede, Naturals White, Chocolate Chip
Inks: Cajun Craze, Soft Suede, More Mustard, Chocolate Chip
Punches: Owl Punch, My Way punch, 1" and 3/4" circles, 1/4" square, paper piercer
Accessories/Embellishments: Glimmer brad, vintage tag, hemp twine, dimensionals
Stamp Set: Day of Gratitude, Thankful For
.jpg)
And here they are again, together and more close up. It's hard to tell but I used my paper snips to fringe the bottom edge of the Indian's dress. (Dress probably isn't the right word, but you know what I mean!)
This card makes me laugh because it wasn't until I was looking at the picture of my card that it looks to me like my Indian is a little crazy and the Pilgrim knows it and is trying to look away! LOL
Supplies Used on Card Above:
Card Stock: Chocolate Chip, Cajun Craze, Autumn Spice DSP, More Mustard, Old Olive
Ink: Chocolate Chip, Versamark(R)
Accessories/Embellishments: owl punch, retired spring bouquet punch, Decorative Label Punch, Word Window Punch, Oval Punch, paper piercing mat & template, paper piercer, ¼” square punch
Stamp Sets: Teeny Tiny Wishes, Autumn Harvest
Hope you enjoy!!
Fall and Birthday Stamp a Stack cards

Last week the first Stamp a Stack of the new Stampin' Up! year was held. The themes were Fall and Birthday. I LOVE fall and coincidentally LOVE fall cards. I could make autumn cards all year long!!! The cards shown here use new stamp sets from the Holiday mini. This Holiday mini is putting a serious dent in my wallet!! EEK! There are just so many awesome things in the mini!
Birthday cards are certainly always handy to have around and so are male ones, right?! Male cards are absolutely one of my weaknesses. I saw a slightly different version of the Totally Tool card above on Stampin' Up!'s demo website and knew I had to CASE it. And then you can't go wrong with a simple, floral, female birthday card. Right?
Supplies Used:
Stamps:
French Foliage, Day of Gratitude, Pick a Petal, Totally Tool
Embellishments:
stampin' pastels, large buttons, aquapainter, Champagne mist shimmer paint (highlighting the colored petals), various brads, striped ribbon, hemp twine
Colors:
Early Espresso, Pumpkin Pie, Riding Hood Red, Old Olive, Basic Gray, Basic Black, Real Red, More Mustard, Chocolate Chip, Marina Mist, Melon Mambo, Concord Crush, Daffodil Delight
