A few pics from Heather’s Event
We had a great time yesterday stamping with and for Heather and I snapped a few pictures. (Actually way too few! Oh well.) Here are the few I did remember to take!
The group stamping and Heather's two children making an appearance and eliciting smiles from all in attendance.

Here is Heather and family. And in the background you can see the scrumptious cupcakes Adrienne made for us! DEEELISH!

What's a stamping event without raffles? We actually sold so many raffle tickets that I ran out!! Sweet! Here's Brenda sporting her tickets. Haha!

And yup, that's it! Haha! To see two of the six cards the participants made click here.
Take care everyone.

Stampin’ Up! Has Heart
|
This was a post on the Stampin' Up! demonstrator web site. Over my 8 years of being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator I have never known Stampin' Up! to not support people in need. I respect Stampin' Up! immensely and love being part of a company with so much heart. (Look for a gorgeous stamp set to support Breast Cancer Research coming in May.) Relief Efforts in JapanMarch 17, 2011 Like all of you, we are deeply saddened by the recent earthquake in Japan and Pacific tsunami, and our hearts go out to all those who were affected. On behalf of our demonstrators and customers, Stampin' Up! is making a donation to the American Red Cross' Japan Earthquake and Pacific Tsunami Relief fund. If you feel so inclined and have the means to do so, we encourage each of you to make a donation to the relief organization of your choice. While we always strive to make a difference, how we support relief efforts for natural disasters is decided on a case-by-case basis. In countries where Stampin' Up! has a presence, we look to our country managers to determine how we can best support our demonstrators, customers, and the local relief efforts. For example, during the flooding in Queensland, Australia in February, the country manager arranged to donate $2 AUD from the sale of every stamp set with a value of $30 AUD or more to the Premier's Disaster Relief Appeal. After the recent earthquake in Christchurch, New Zealand, the country manager felt it was most important to support our demonstrators and customers directly, so we are waiving the registration fee to the Christchurch regional and turning the event into a fun day of crafting for both demonstrators and their guests. The company is also supporting demonstrator fundraising efforts related to the earthquake by donating free products. In the case of Japan, because we do not operate in that country, we feel the most effective and efficient way to provide immediate support to those affected by this terrible tragedy is to give a monetary donation. Elizabeth’s Thank you notes
So in true 'me' style… I have yet to send thank you notes from my kids birthday parties this year. Yes, this year. Embarassing! But unfortunately most of my friends and family expect this of me! LOL So, here are the thank you notes from Elizabeth's birthday party. Now, these have been done for over a month but we have yet to write them. Well, she wrote one! But it's not been sent. <sigh> The road to you know where is filled with good intentions, right?!?!

I'm so in love with all of our embossing folders for the Big Shot. This Vintage wall paper one is one of my favorites!
