Embrace Life

(Originally posted November 2, 2008)

Hi All,

I made a video today to share a cute little ornament with you all but I’m having trouble getting it uploaded.  Go figure.  But I wanted to share SOMEthing with you!  So here’s a card some of my customers will recognize from this past spring.  It is one of my favorites.  It uses the Embrace Life stamp set and the old Groovy Guava In Color, both DSP and ink.  But one could easily change out that Groovy Guava DSP and ink color for any of our other fabulous DSPs and colors.  It’s such a simple yet elegant card, don’t you think?  I stamped the flowers in the Timber Brown Stazon and water colored it in with a blender pen

Off to keep working on uploading that video tutorial…

PCP Color Challenge 6

And the color challenges keep on coming…

Inspiration Piece:

My Creation:

Uses Bella Rose DSP. All the colors in the challenge were used – some more so than others. The Pixie Pink is the outline flower both on the center image and stamped on the DSP. The Pink Pirouette is the DSP, the main image flower, and the taffeta ribbon. Green Galore is found in the stem and the cardstock. Garden Green is the stem outline and the sentiment. And lastly, Riding Hood Red is the card base, sponged on the outside of the main image, and in the center of the flower. The stamp set is Heartfelt Thanks.
