Scrapbook Club Projects

I {heart} scrapbooking!  And I love having the scrapbook club back in action cuz it helps me get more pages ready to go!  So here’s some ‘before’ shots of the pages for this month.  And hopefully VERY soon I’ll get some ‘after’ shots with pictures on them!

I used the new Night & Day Specialty Designer Papers as well as a LOT of punches on this layout.  I love how versatile the Baroque Motifs stamp set is as well.  Who would’ve thought it would be a great stamp set for Halloween??  But when I pulled out the Night & Day designer paper I immediately thought of Baroque Motifs.  Hope you like it too! 

Here’s the second layout for the scrapbook club members and guests.  Again, I used the Night & Day Specialty Designer paper.  This time I pulled out my Medallion background stamp, inked it up with Frost White shimmer paint and stamped it half on each page.  I also did a ton more punching to make that spider (scallop circle and photo corner punches) and used the Big Shot to get the Build a Bear.  I used a marker to color a toothpick Elegant Eggplant and used that as the holder for the Happy Halloween banner the little bear is holding.

Sarah sent me an e-mail today showing me a card she made for Halloween that was inspired by my Halloween layout found here.  Isn’t that a GREAT card???  I love that you can take a scrapbook idea and turn it into a card and vice versa.  Thank you for sharing with me Sarah and thank you for allowing me to share with everyone else!  (So, no, it wasn’t designed by me but I still put my watermark on it to get the (C) Stampin’ Up! legal stuff on there!)

Here’s a page from last year’s scrapbook club.  I’ve been working on different things for current classes so I don’t have much new to show you, so I thought I’d show you something I love from last year!  And I thought why not make another little game out of it? Leave a comment here on my blog listing the stamp sets used by October 29th at 8 pm ET and I’ll pick a winner with random.org to receive 4 handstamped cards from me!  Happy Halloween! 

Sneak Peek – Scrapbook Club

I LOVE Halloween!  Don’t you?  So I had to share one page of the two page Halloween layout my Scrapbook club will be creating this week.  It uses the new Ghostly Greetings DSP and the new Halloween Frights stamp set.  Scrapbook Club members and guests will also be creating a two page Christmas layout, but you’ll have to wait to see that.   In the first picture the color is off – sorry about that.  But you can see the true colors (pumpkin pie, green galore, and so saffron) much better in the second one.  Happy Halloween!
