Loving the Holiday Mini!!

So, just so you know… just because there aren't posts here on my blog doesn't mean I haven't been stamping!!  I've actually been able to do quite a bit of stamping lately, just not a lot of blogging!

So, I have a few minutes before I run out for the evening so I wanted to share one of my most favorite cards right now.  I just LOVE it! It uses a bajillion new things from the Holiday mini and it makes me happy!  I hope it makes you happy too!

I actually had this card as one of the Make and Takes at my last Team Meeting.  Do you see all the NEW things?  Check out the supply list below.  And because it's been a while, I included all the dimensions and some tips on how to make the card as well!  Hope you enjoy!

Emma’s 9th Birthday

Emma is a frequent stamper of mine and she's 9! She and her mom come to most of my mom & me classes and she is such a love.  I've actually known Emma and her mom for about 7 years now and remember her toddling around with this headful of adorable curly hair and now she's 9!  Crazy.
So, Emma's mom approached me and told me that Emma wanted to stamp at her birthday party.  LOVE IT!  How could I say no?  So first, every birthday girl needs a birthday present, right?!  So here was my present to her…a scrapbook layout to scrap her 9th birthday party.

A row of 9 (of course) cupcakes with some sugary cherries on top!

Here's the journaling block.  This cherry has a dab of crystal effects on it to make it look super yummy!!

Tomorrow, I'll show you the projects the girls stamped!

Hope you enjoyed this absolutely gorgeous weather this weekend!!

Christmas Cards

Here are the Christmas cards we made last night.  It's hard to choose which one is my favorite.  I love the Deck the Halls designer paper and the vintage feel to the Cardinal card… I like the ease that the snowflake card comes together yet still looks well put together…of course I love the ornaments, the details in the ornaments just make it… and who doesn't like the crispness of Real Red, Basic Black, and Whisper White together along with some glitter on Santa's hat??

Do you have your Christmas card designed?  If not, I'd love to help you!  Just shoot me an email or give me a call to help you design Christmas cards perfect for you!

Valentines and Birthday Cards

Here are the cards from this week’s club meeting.  I love getting together with you ladies!  You are all so much fun.  Because of the holidays and all it felt like it had been forever since we got together and it took me a few minutes to get back in routine.  It was great fun!!  And I wish you all could’ve seen the swap cards.  (Each month members have the opportunity to participate in a card swap with each other.)  There was a snow globe card, TWO stair step cards, embossing, glitter, bling, and more!!!

Supplies used include:
Stamp Sets: With all my Heart, I {Heart} Hearts, Well Scripted
Punches: circle punches, Heart to Heart punch, scallop edge
Accessories/Embellishments: Circle scissors plus, Scallops Die #2, Chunky Essentials Glitter, white gel pen, corduroy buttons, Soft Suede polka dot ribbon, vintage brads, clear rhinestone brad

First Card of the New Year!

Wow – it was both great and difficult to put ink to rubber to paper today!  It has been waaaaay too long since I have stamped.  It was awesome to sit and stamp again but very difficult to get a groove going as well.  Let’s hope I’ve worked out some kinks and the next ones come more quickly and easily. :)

I started with the Mojo sketch from this week (I did stray a little from the sketch but that’s okay) and knew I wanted to play with two new stamps: I {Heart} Hearts and Well Scripted.

Even with a slight loss of clear chunky glitter to my stamp room floor (thanks to my 2 year old) I like the way it turned out and hope you do too (especially my stamp club members who will be making this Wednesday night!).

The color is a little off (got a new camera for my birthday last month and still have A LOT to learn on it!) but the colors used are Real Red, Chocolate Chip, and Very Vanilla.
