Christmas Cards
Here are the Christmas cards we made last night. It's hard to choose which one is my favorite. I love the Deck the Halls designer paper and the vintage feel to the Cardinal card… I like the ease that the snowflake card comes together yet still looks well put together…of course I love the ornaments, the details in the ornaments just make it… and who doesn't like the crispness of Real Red, Basic Black, and Whisper White together along with some glitter on Santa's hat??
Do you have your Christmas card designed? If not, I'd love to help you! Just shoot me an email or give me a call to help you design Christmas cards perfect for you!

DD’s Birthday Invitation
Funny enough we now have a child’s birthday to celebrate each quarter of the calendar year! LOL And next month is our oldest daughter’s birthday so the last of her invitations went out in today’s mail. But before they went I had to take some pictures to share with you all!
I think Crazy for Cupcakes might be my current favorite set! Remember I used it for both the invites and thank you’s for my other daughter’s birthday and I’ve recently done a Cupcakes Class and I used it for my technique club recently as well, among other instances I’m sure!
This instance of using the set just made sense because the tier of cupcakes has 6 cupcakes in it and my daughter will be turning 6! She thought that was just perfect. We decided easily on the pink and brown color scheme and used the retired Berry Bliss DSP along with Pretty in Pink CS. I didn’t have enough of the Pretty in Pink taffeta ribbon for all the invites but I thought the pink striped ribbon looked just as good (if not, perhaps, better!). And of course the Big Shot was used a TON with the Top Note die, not just for the outside but the inside as well. And if you remember from a few posts ago I used one of the cards from the Hawaii boards as inspiration for the layout of the card. We’re pleased in our house at how they turned out and are looking forward to a fun birthday party!

Happy Valentine’s Day
Happy Valentine’s Day Everyone! Hope you all enjoy a wonderful day and feel that you are loved.
Here is a card I sent to all my club members from the last catalog. I just love the Love You Much stamp set, Candy Lane DSP, Heart to Heart punch, and Pretty in Pink taffeta ribbon! The card base is Rose Red, the dots and sentiment came from Garden Greetings, and I stamped the hearts in Chocolate Chip ink before punching them out with the Heart to Heart punch.
I really do appreciate all of my club members and hopefully this card made them feel that way!
Take care everyone!

Inspired by Colors
(Originally posted November 11, 2008)
I love looking around me and finding new and different color combinations. You’ve seen me participate in Kristina’s color challenges a few times. Well, I recently joined the PCP (www.papercraftplanet.com) community (and you should too!) and am now in charge of setting up a new color challenge every Wednesday! I started my first one today (a day early, but it’s a holiday, and holidays are fun and color challenges are fun!) and can’t wait to see what the other PCP members come up with. Of course, it’s a totally optional thing and there are no prizes awarded but it’s great fun to challenge yourself, perhaps use colors you’re not used to using, and just get a little stamping time in for yourself.
So, all my wonderful blog followers will benefit from the challenges I’m doing over at PCP because I’ll post my inspirations and creations here each week as well! Hope you enjoy. And hope to see you over at PCP!

Isn’t that Always stamp set just so pretty and versatile???
PCP Color Challenge 6
And the color challenges keep on coming…
Inspiration Piece:

My Creation:

Uses Bella Rose DSP. All the colors in the challenge were used – some more so than others. The Pixie Pink is the outline flower both on the center image and stamped on the DSP. The Pink Pirouette is the DSP, the main image flower, and the taffeta ribbon. Green Galore is found in the stem and the cardstock. Garden Green is the stem outline and the sentiment. And lastly, Riding Hood Red is the card base, sponged on the outside of the main image, and in the center of the flower. The stamp set is Heartfelt Thanks.
